Although our exterior excavation method is easily explained, implementation can sometimes be difficult. The primary problem encountered is limited accessibility around the foundation with obstacles such as decks, concrete, porches, landscaping, additions, etc. All these obstacles add to the cost of the waterproofing because much of the excavation must be done by hand, instead of by machine. Also, there are often added expenses for the customer upon completion of the waterproofing due to repair or replacement of these obstacles. When accessibility is not an issue, there is significant savings to the customer.

AG Waterproofing will excavate strictly by hand, or with the assistance of a machine – a mini – excavator to complete the excavation process. When our mini – excavator is used, there is a significant savings, but the final decision is up to the customer.
All quotes assume the use of a machine as much as possible unless otherwise requested by a customer.
